February 25, 2012, 10:30 am – 12 pm: A Saturday talk on Great Books in Surrey for Simon Fraser University (SFU). See details.

February to March 2012: A course on social change for the SFU Seniors Program in downtown Vancouver. See details.

April/May 2012: A face-to-face Great Books Seminar on Paulo Freire’s Pedagogy of the Oppressed in downtown Vancouver. Join the mailing list to receive notice when registration is open.

May 3, 2012, 7 – 8:30 pm: A talk on Great Books, co-sponsored by Vancouver Public Library (VPL), at its downtown Central Branch. For details, please watch out for the VPL May event brochure.

 

Welcome to Freewill Learning, a modern version of Plato’s Academy and Confucius’ philosophical school. If you wish to produce great work in the arts or sciences, or to make lasting changes for yourself as well as for humanity, then join us. All are welcome, regardless of age, nationality, or occupation. Intellectual honesty and open-mindedness are the only requirements.
